Hi Jen,

when ASSA built our the new turret at Stockport, we used a steel rack which is 7mm thick and mode 8 tooth spacing. Using plastic or cast racks will not survive if the load of the roof is too high. I suspect your roof is very heavy as the shutter on our roof is 400kg and it is flat, 5 metres long and only 2 metres wide. The rack we used was the minimum calculated by our engineer to bear that load.

I am sure you will get this sorted but thick steel is the way to go in this instance. You can get them cut via engineering firms which laser and computer cutting.
