Up for sale is my Denkmeir Spectrum 60 solar telescope. For those who don’t know what this is, it is the original (ie before Meade bought Coronado) PST modified by Denkmeir in the US to increase the aperture to 60 mm
Comes with a clamshell and vixen type mounting plate. Because the original PST alignment window doesn’t work I use a helipod which makes it actually easier to find the sun
To image with my DMK 21 requires the bottom spacer to be removed and the blocking filter screwed directly on to the scope
There is one small mark on the spacer from the first time it was unscrewed
Once the spacer is removed it comes to focus with and without a Barlow. You need the spacer for visual.
Selling as I barely do any solar observing and I also have a Lunt and two solar scopes both being hardly ever used is ridiculous
It comes in a nice die cut foam which is in the original cardboard box in which it came to me from Denkmeir
