Given your budget of $500~ Why not get a QHY5 for guiding, and a ToUcam as a planetary camera?
That is what I would (and did!
) do... I always find a guide star with 2sec exposures using an OAG in my 80mm F/6 scope, I usually guide with 2sec exposures, I find anything less results in the mount chasing the seeing...
