Sweet lookin' setup. And what a great idea!
Maybe a modified "lazy susan" would do the trick? But instead of all wood, maybe some hard foam drilled to fit barrel size glued to the top of the 'lazy susan'.
I don't like to use those usual trays, as heavy eyepieces have a tendency to fall off. I had my big 21mm Ethos do that, and it got a scratch....Oh no
I suppose I can live with it, it is a small scratch, but it did piss me off for a couple of weeks though
