Test update
Hi all,
took mr Toucam out tonight, a bit cloudy, but i may have solved some of the red mess that was part of the original. I shall start at the beginning. Decided to take 10 x 10 sec exposure shots with toucam lying on the ground and pointing straight up. Everything was with the toucam's default settings and with auto everything.
The first three pics are samples of the 10 x 10 sec exposure. As you can see, there are red clouds! The first one is pretty clear, but the second to, the moving clouds are quite prevalent.
These 10 shots were fed into registrax as 10 bitmap images (i was worried you could only feed movies in, but individual images are allowed).
Lined up on a bright star and processed.
The fourth shot is the unedited result and the 5th has been edited in Photoshop. Using an adjustment called curves which took the red clouds out.
I will try again when not so cloudy for 20 sec exposures.
