Yes, if the deal with another member from this club can come to a conclusion, I'll be getting into Deep Sky observing. My plan is to build a Dob mount from ideas gathered on the internet.
One other interest of mine is 4WD driving. We get up to the Gold Coast quite often in a year and Dark Sky viewing along the way...Parkes, Forbes, Connabarabran...etc. would be awesome. Hopefully we get to meet when doing one of these trips.
