I use the Nikon D5100 which has a very sensitive, low noise sensor. It also has a full swing/tip/tilt LCD which makes it a breeze to use at the scope. If you look at the forums at you'll that the days of Canon's monopoly on astronomical DSLRs has been well and truly broken. Lots of people there imaging with Nikon and Sony cameras.
