I am selling my 8inch Bintel Dobsonian telescope for $400 in Brisbane
It is ideal for a first telescope, for those who want to view the moon, planets, and nebulae (I have managed to view the orion nebula in Forest Lake, so a dark site is preferred but not necessary).
It can use 2" or 1.25" eyepieces.
The telescope will come with the following:
-26mm focal length 2" eyepiece,
-15mm and 9mm 1.25" eyepieces.
- lunar filter for use with the 1.25" eyepieces, to enable viewing of the moon without discomfort.
- 8×50 Right Angle Correct Image Finderscope
- Laser collimator
- 3X Achromatic Barlow lens (for increasing magnification of eyepieces)
- fan for cooling the primary mirror, to help get you viewing faster
The telescope is in perfect condition (except for a few scuffs on the base) and has all dust caps. I am only selling as I no longer find I have the time to use it, and I want to fund other hobbies.
