Ed that's just a temporary respite.
There is no real cure, it comes and goes. Just wait till you get a bad dose of Ethoitis, leading to eyepieces the size of coke bottles... then there's the dreaded "mine's bigger than yours" syndrome which is only placated by the ES 30mm with 3" barrel.
You might need a new scope to go with that
