A few moths out of the wallet.

Hi,

I let a few moths out of my wallet today and purchased a Canon EOS 1100D. I've done some home work on it.

Checked out a review by Gary Honjs.

It sounds promising from a noise point of view.
I'm just slowly working through the setup and remote operation from the computer. But what I really want to know has any body else used this camera for astro imaging?

I plan to start off piggy backing the camera and using the standard lenses. 18 to 55 and 70 to 300. Then progress to prime focus on my 200mm F/6 newtonian.
Are there any suggestions for initial setup?
Any input will be appreciated.

Regards,

Justin.
