Craters sketch 14-10-10

Hi everyone,

its been a very long time since I've posted an obs report and yesterday night I had lots of high cloud and then later it completely clouded up.

Any way i decided to take out the scope to test out my newly acquired 6mm and 9mm Tmb planetary type II eps. They are realy nice eps.

The craters I decided to sketch are Theophilus and Cyrillus. They an interesting pair of overlapping craters.Theophilus had many centered peak and terraced wall.Cyrillus had 2 central peaks with terraced walls and a small crater to the left.

I used an 80a blue filter to bring down the brightness of the moon it worked great.I used the 9mm tmb with my 2x barlow giving me a power of 200x.

I also had a look at Jupiter in which i observed a shadow transit of Io.

Clouds came racing in and i ended up packing up.
Regards orestis.
ps-for the sketch i used a 2b pencil with a paper stump.
