Chasing learned opinions - Rare on this forum I know
I own a Cel.114 GT. I am considering the purchase of a Meade ETX-90. The Meade is far more portable & given that "The scope You use more is the best scope for you" I'm wondering about optic performance. The Meade is far better for transport as I camp in dark sky locations once a fortnight ( on average ) but I am concerned about stepping down in aperature. I have not seen through an ETX-90 to compare. Would I notice a loss in contrast??? Your thoughts are appreciated. PS. The Meade would be coming from another list member
