To make a binoscope from a pair of FOA60s, you will need a pair of EMS-US visual backs from Tatsuro Matsumoto, 2 sets of 68mm K-Astec 68mm tube rings from Sakabe-san at Kyoei-Osaka and a BB130 cradle from Beat Kohler at AOK-Swiss.
The resolving ability of a 60mm binoscope is the same as a single but apparent image brightness and image size is much better, about the same as a single eyepiece in a 100mm scope.
Using a binoviewer in a 4” Refractor gives a dimmer image than the 60 bino.
