Mine arrived today. I found one night I could not contort myself into any position that allowed me to do a quick focus through the viewfinder before fine tuning it with ImagesPlus.
I checked the local price:

When I found a $390 price difference for what appears to be the same object, guess who got the order? Even with shipping I was still way in front!
I looked more closely at the Canon product on-line today, and they are basically the same thing!
The "universal" part of the ebay ad refers to how the finder is attached - they provide a number of different mounts depending on the camera - you clip the correct mount onto the camera viewfinder attachment and the other side is the same for all (ie, accepts the viewfinder).
