I am putting back up for sale my old Gemini 1 system and Losmandy tripod. The previous buyer was a no show and a second buyer was not happy with the inconsistent guiding performance for imaging and was not inclined to tinkering.

It is important to understand the bottom line, i.e. whoever is interested in using the mount for imaging will need to be handy in troubleshooting issues i.e. a tinkerer. It could be anything from bearings/ motor/couplings etc. A new RA gear box has been added recently but guiding is still inconsistent. Buyers are welcome to visit my place to test run, image etc. etc. to be sure of their purchase.


All goto functions work fine from the Gemini 1 box. Sale includes the Losmandy tripod that splits in 4 pieces. It has the Losmandy one piece precision worm. It includes one 21lbs counterweight, counter weight shaft, the deluxe hand paddle, polar scope, 12V cigarette lighter power plug and RJ12 to DB9 cable for laptop connection (you will need RS232 to USB Adapter). The USB hub in the images is not for sale.

Price has now been dropped to $950. It is ONLY available for pick-up at Bankstown in Sydney and I will not post.
