Are you referring to autofocus at some distance or infinity?
It should be possible to do manual focus (Bahtinov mask helps a lot here!) with liveview on bright star...
I am using 3D printed viewer for that (

And, just today I bought
swabs for sensor cleaning.. (I have some dirt on the glass that doesn't want to go away with air blower), they may be helpful for you as well.
