Hi Craig,
Another Adelaide astronomer!
I've been autoguiding with PHD/Toucam/80mm refractor and a similar EQ5-type mount (Skywatcher Synscan) for a few months now. I use a Shoestring USB interface to link from the PC laptop to the autoguider port on the mount.
How are you connecting?
