Hmm, I think we're both partly right. Just refreshed my memory by looking at the Astronomik website. The
UV/IR does appear to be just a UV/IR blocking filter, not a colour correction one as you point out. I was confusing it with
the OWB (original white balance) filter that they have, which is the one I was describing above.
