Hi Raymo, I’m new to astronomy and would love to get into astrophotography. I have just purchased a Celestron NexStar Evolution 6” SCT which sits on a heavy duty Alt-Azimuth. From reading various web articles I’m pretty sure I need to change over to an equatorial mount (EQ5?) but I’m also keen to mount my camera (thinking about upgrading to a Sony A6300 or Nikon D5600) on something similar to what you have and taking pics of deep space objects. Any tips for a beginner?
