Hi Alex and everyone, I've just spent the last 2 hours trying to find a nice dark spot in Sydney and chanced upon this thread.
I'd be pretty keen to join the next time the airfield is open for observing. I'm quite new to the hobby, having been out to a local cricket pitch once and only used my dob 8" twice.
Can I register as a member and come out on the next event? Is that all that's required for access to the dark site?
Clear Outside tells me that either tuesday or thursday night next week will be good for observing hence I've been trying to find a site in sydney within driving distance to continue my adventure! Any tips appreciated
