BTW I found here

I found that the pole deviation GA tool had shifted on the site(deviated?)and some searching found
http://www.ga.gov.au/oracle/geomag/agrfform.jsp
And found my magnetic pole deviation to be
D = 10.663 deg
So thats why I offset 10 deg east from compass south.
Worked a treat!
