For existing ASI1600MM-C owners there does not seem to be any incentive to move to the GT. After all you would already own a filter wheel, and some people prefer using 36mm filters; and it's only a five position wheel which means filter swaps if your doing RGBL and Narrowband. Sure ZWO is innovative, but the basic mono 1600 has not changed since the May 2916 release. Save your money imho.
