I was experimenting a bit with this lens tonight.. before starting to think about glass relaxing, I just wanted to see how it compares with it's older brother, MTO1100A.
The results were as expected - star image quality is similar to MTO (actually slightly better) before relaxing the main mirror (there is a bit of astigmatism visible).

M8 image is stack of 16 frames, 30sec, no tracking (on standard EQ6).
