Tak owners look away now ... 
I'm now 6 weeks into the refurbishment of my 12+ year old, 4th hand Tak NJP mount, scope & tri-pier.
I couldn't live with the 'baby bathtub green' Tak colours, so the the NJP was completely stripped down and has now been powder coated in it's new
Apollo 11 inspired livery. The Gold bits have a few minor bubbles in the coating, but otherwise it looks like new!
Clive's busy reassembling it now, and The Bluester machined an adapter to fit to my new Ioptron tri-pier, which I've powder coated silver to match & dubbed it "the Eagle".
The formerly white scope rings, mirror & secondary holders are now coated jet black, and it's being reassembled and re-collimated by Diego.
So now that my gear is in five different locations, I'm looking forward to having it all back home and in one piece, so I can get back to imaging again soon!
