Jupiter, 26th May

Jupiter from 26th May. Started processing some of my images from another night of good seeing. This is the side with the Little Red Spot (Oval BA), and a major white disturbance in the South Equatorial Belt. The second image is in methane, shows some of the bigger spots like the LRS bright in methane, some bright patches with the SEB disturbance, and some texture in the NEB. The STB ghost is rising at lower left (dark patch in methane) below another oval that is also dark in methane. Chris Go's images help those sorts of IDs!

Not quite eliminated the edge effects from the WJ derotation, but I'm definitely getting sharper results from WJ combination now.

More to follow I hope and some planet maps from what was a good night!

200mm f/5 Newtonian at f/30, ASI185MC, capture with Firecapture, processed with PIPP, Registax and derotated in WinJupos.
Image 1: 13 x 1min, R, G and B processed separately, derotated and combined.
Image 2: 2 x 5min, video derotated then combined in WJ.
