40D Imaging Tip
Just a guideline I found to be pretty useful.
When imaging any object, with a 40D or other Canon DSLR, do make sure that, in adition to your regular protocols, you:
a) Make good and bloody sure there is a card in the slot
and
b) You have not set the Cfn to "Shoot without card"
There's 2 hours I'll never get back!
