We've always manufactured here in Australia and I forwarded the MIT
links to our third party turn-key manufacturer here in Sydney.
I received this response from them this morning :-

Thanks for the info, I've actually been in contact with the Therapeutic Goods Administration offering our services for electronics manufacture of ventilators. We have been in touch with firms that do medical equipment and are tasking themselves with these units, so hopefully we can help them out if they have capacity issues, which I'm sure they will.
