Video of the June 13th 2020 launch of Rocket Lab's Electron two-stage launch vehicle, carrying a small satellite for the US National Reconnaissance Office (i.e. a 'spy' satellite) and the N2 Pathfinder satellite which was built in a collaboration between UNSW and the Australian government.
Rocket Lab is a private US aerospace manufacturer based in Long Beach that that was founded by New Zealanders.
It has successfully launched 53 satellites and has two launch sites in New Zealand, one at Long Beach California, one at Wallops Island in Virginia and one in the Chatham Islands.
