I think you made a bad call there Alex, the clouds cleared away nicely in the late afternoon. A handful of fellow club members and I were observing and imaging from the Southern Highlands , near Bowral and the sky was lovely and clear after dark. The main problem was that it was extremely dewy, the gear was dripping wet within a few hours and some fog was making itself unwelcome.
