[graham.hobart (Graham stevens)]

Hi all, Merry xmas !
I read in the back of one of my Astrophotography books that this photographer, when using DSLR converts his flats to mono as you are only correcting abnormalities in illumination ?
Do people do this?
When I shoot NE I am over Hobart's light dome so I always thought if I shot some sky flats there as well they would help correct for sky gradient, even at dusk/
Am I barking up the wrong Xmas tree?
