Hi Sandi,

Depends what you have there. A few thoughts:

Some have started small and over decades swapped gear to eventually acquire the dream scope of a lifetime (as I have).

Many have strived to re-acquire “classic” scopes they remember fondly from younger days, particularly 60-100mm refractors from the 80’s if they’re in nice condition. Some are little more than ornaments for a man-cave, but some really do work well and can be a pleasure to use. They also make a nice hand-me-down for young ones with an interest.

OTOH there certainly are things that should be sold off, parted out or ultimately disposed of.
