A bat crap bombardier decided to jettison its load in mid flight, perfectly delivered into the ota of an old Omcon Newt, splashing copiously across the mirror and down the sides of the tube. In split seconds without thought I had the hose down there pronto, almost like an autonomous reaction.
A little damage was done, so I upgraded the scope and handed the Omcon on to a friend in need.
