Shifting everything up to the dark site, having a long weekend glass of wine or two, then starting to setup and realising the standard bolts which connect my pier plate adapter to my pier, are too short by 1/4 inch when connecting to the new tripod.
Nearest Bunnings 100 km away. Should have checked at home first..duh.
