Laurie I think the TSA120 is as sharp as a reasonably priced a scope gets, the Mewlon is good but not in the same league as the TSA120 as far as sharp, contrasty images but it is very very good. It seems very dependent on adequate cooling as expected.

Its main advantage over the TSA for visual is obviously the extra aperture and on nebulae it becomes very obvious.

Compared to other 8" cats and reflectors the Mewlon to me seems to have a visible edge. But I have not done side by side comparisons, nor am I really into such comparos.
The Mewlon 210 does have minor but obvious image shift during focusing but for the visual use that was its primary design idea, such mirror shift is of no consequence.
