Hi Niko,
what mount are you using and does your laptop has either a bluetooth built in or a spare usb port?
If it's EQ6/EQ5 I can recommend a wireless bluetooth connection from your mount to a laptop for both autoguing and controlling your scope.
I am using it for months and have never had any problems with it.
