Yes that Jupiter is starting to look really good. And I actually thought that brighter patch on your Mars image may well be the dust storm in question although it is a bit faint for me (who is also no expert) to make a call. You might want to look at some high resolution images of it in the Solar system imaging forum in Cloudy nights and assess if you have caught it in that image.
