This is a post I made at Image Source. Don't know if it is really "new" but it was new to me and I think it works rather well and provides some flexibility in work flow. With this method one can start with raw Y800 and using VDub write a Debayered uncompressed avi.

I'd be most curious to hear from anyone that has experimented with this as to how the "Debayering" compares to the more commonly used approaches of Registax or Ninox.
