Hi guys,

I am trying to install a Baader Steel drive focuser to my PC and for the life of me I cannot get it to come up as an option in any of my USB ports.

I get a ping that the PC is telling me that there is something that is connected, but I cannot get it to come up as a a device option in either the ASCOM device manager, the PC's device manager or software such as that provided by Baader to control the focuser, in SGP or MaximDL.

I have changed one cable extension to now at least get a ping, and will try a shorter cable, but is there another way to go about checking how best to connect this device?
