These three eg are in a long RA tri pointing S about 12' long with NGC 5210 at the S tip. -08 & -09 are E-W of each other about 3' apart. The field is almost completely blank nothing brighter than 14th mag and only a handful of those.

-08 has a slightly brighter core of the two together and is slightly elong in PA 175, 1' x 10" faint and low SB with a small slightly brighter elong core and a threshold mag *ar nucleus.

-09 is a little more diffuse, 40" across and has low SB rising slightly to centre.

-10 seems to be round, just on or perhaps just bigger than 1', grows broadly and slightly to the centre without zones, core or nucleus. Of the three, -10 probably has fractionally better SB.

-11 is not hard to see. On the DSS it is a spectacular ring-form spiral but that is not visible in the ep. Small to quite small, 40" diameter rising mod & evenly to s small, mod brighter spot in the centre. 7' SSW is MCG+0-35-8.

-8 is about the same size but slightly fainter and lower in SB, 40" diameter, round and grows weakly to the centre without apparent zones, core or nucleus.

This eg is immediately adjacent to the SE of a 12th mag *. Fairly easy to see but lowish SB round halo, 50" to 1' diameter without zones it grows broadly and slightly to the centre with no apparent core or nucleus.

These three eg form a 10' line from N-S -26, -21,- 22. starting with the S most, -22 is a small, fairly faint eg about 50" diameter maybe just off round in PA 0 and brightens slightly to centre without core or nucleus. This is the brightest of the 3. -21 is 4' N.

-21 is the 2nd brightest but is still very faint and quite elong in PA 90, 1' x 5" very slender sliver of very faint mist weakly brighter in the centre. Occasionally there seems to be a threshold mag stellaring in the centre.

-26 is 5' further N and is an exceptionally faint and tiny eg. Occasionally, barely visible as a 10" spot of the weakest gossamer no structure.

I see this last eg was discovered by Dryer himself with the 72" at Birr Castle. There are no observing notes there by Gottlieb. Am I the first to actually see this eg since its discovery in 1877? I wonder ?

This eg forms a small RA tri with *s of mags 11 & 12 to the SW and NNW. The eg is small and round with lowish but reasonable SB, 50" diameter growing broadly and slightly to centre without core, zones of apparent nucleus.

This eg appears in the centre of a longish RA tri of mag 12.5 * that runs more or less E-W. Very LSB but good size, 1.5'' diameter, round with diffuse edges and a weak azonal brightening to centre. No core or nucleus.

NGC 5224 is between a couple of mag 9 *s aligned WSW-ENE about 7' apart. Small, 40" diameter round halo slightly and evenly concentrating to centre where there is a stellaring. -35 is 15' NE and forms a small RA tri with mag 10 & 12 *s and is between a couple of mag 14 *s N and S. Very small, almost *ar, faint, to very faint 20-30" diameter. No immediately visible, took 10-15" to pin it down.

This is a small somewhat elong eg found in a pretty blank field. It is about 13' NE of a mag 8 *. Seems to be elong in PA ) 40" x 20" lowish SB grows slightly to centre where there is a very small, round slightly to mod brighter core zone.

MCG +1-35-24 is 15' NE of NGC 5252 but is very LSB and small. Perhaps 20" diameter rising weakly to centre. No other structure.

This eg is found almost between a couple of mag 12.5 *s aligned NW-SE sep by 4'. Very small and very LSB about 40" diameter and slightly elong in PA 0, just off-round. Brightens weakly to centre azonally with no evidence of core or nucleus.

-06 is the major eg here and is 5' N of a mag 10 * . Also has a 13th mag * not far outside the halo to the NW. Round, almost 1' diameter growing from indefinite edges broadly and slightly to centre where there is a mod brighter small core/nucleus. -13 is to the NW by 3'

-13 is a really beautiful but extremely LSB tiny sliver about 40" x 2" in PA 30 with no core or nucleus.

This is a faintly easy to see eg in these conditions pointed at by a couple of mag 12 *s to the W a few arcmins away. Probably 1.25-1.5' diameter, very diffuse edged round halo growing broadly and weakly to centre azonally with no core, zones or nucleus visible. SB is pretty low, not too bad in centre but the edges are very difficult to gauge.

-29 is Easy to see though fairly small, about 40-50" diameter, round growing mod and evenly to centre where it is dominated by a small mod brighter spot core/nucleus. MCG +1-35-45 is 10' ESE.

-45 is very elong in PA small elong smudge of gossamer in about PA 120, 1' x 5' of pretty much consistent SB -- possibly growing weakly to centre.

These two are found in contact 12' S of NGC 5329. Very small very faint pair of egs in PAs at RA to each other and in contact at the W ends. Both are tiny, slightly elong ovals with tips in PA 30 & 120 20" long and less than that wide with the N eg (PGC 49266 apparently the brighter or at least better in SB. Low to very LSB. The two form an "L" shape.

This eg is just to the SW by maybe 30" from a mag 8 *. Very small, seems only 20" diameter probably because of the very bright * round and growing broadly and mod to the centre without nucleus. Low SB.

NGC 5335 Galaxy *
RA: 13h 52m 56.7s Dec: +02° 48' 53"

On the DSS this appears to be close to a star of about mag 6 but the star does not appear in the ep. (Appears to be a "plate-flaw"). Very, very faint and small 40-50" diameter and seems to have a weak axial streak through it in PA 0 and it appears to grow weakly to that streak and to have a very faint stellaring in the centre. Mag 15 * just off the S edge of the halo.
