Sorry you missed it- seems both tree and clouds conspired against you.  I still can't believe how lucky I was to get that beautiful clear night which I did my obs in. It was such a surprise as I'd truly given up hope of observing it. I had a 30 sec quickie look days before but didn't see much as it was thru cloud gap and was very hazy. |
