Light pollution and narrow band imaging...?

Hey all,

A few Questions regarding Narrow band imaging..

Is narrow band imaging affected by light pollution?

What are the advantages of narrow band imaging over "normal" RGB imaging like that through a DSLR...?

Can Comets be photographed using certain types of narrow band filters? If so which ones show them the best.

Just throwing out the line and seeing what narrow band imaging is all about...

thanks in advance...
