This 8mm Ultima LX is a fine eyepiece in SCT's, Maks and refractors. I have one that I use exclusively in my C8. Eye relief is good, and its outer rubber shell can be twisted to raise or lower it. Most significantly for me, this eyepiece is one of the easiest on the eye that I have encountered. It is a joy to use when spending two hours with a sketch of the Moon, with my eyes experiencing bugger all fatigue at the end.
Not an eyepiece for Newtonians. Not designed for Newts. A really nice eyepiece for SCTs, Maks and refactors. A really nice eyepiece for its price. Big sucker too!
