Wouldn't you simply buy a wet clean kit? There are plenty of threads on this on the net, especially at Dpreview.com

Nikon D600 guys are expert at it due to the dust/oil problem with that camera.

I used to clean my 20D's with Bintel cleaning fluid, a hurricane blow, Q tips and clean tissues and a bright light. Easy.
