Excellent to see the new affordable dslr range us being updated.
best option re modding is to get a 450D body then send it off to get modded, as that way you dont have to pay GST on the mod as its classed as a repair. I bought my 350D pre modded as a new camera and had to pay gst.
Im tipping the 450D body will be no more expensive than the current 400D body
