Great set of Obs Paddy! The Bug Nebula is a Fav of mine. Lots of detail to be seen there in moderate-large apertures, and is very bright aswell. You obs closely mirror mine, especially with the oval center and the pincer like features. Can actually see this neb in my 60mm finder.
Re your IC 1297 obs...did you see that cool sketch of it in the latest S&T issue?
