Jupiter - 16th April

Skies nice and clear, setup scope and capture gear at 10:30pm... cooled scope, and ready to settle in for a night of imaging.

Clouds rolled in out of nowhere, and all I managed was 1 x 60 second AVI. So 90 minutes setup/pack-up for 60 seconds. Sigh!!

Anyway, I think I managed an OK focus.

Skywatcher Mak Cass Gold 180 Pro
2X Barlow (still the crappy one)
SW HEQ5 Pro Mount
ASI120MC-S Camera
Firecapture 2.6
Registax6

Was planning on doing Gain tests tonight, so started at 90%... images were very grainy, but Registax seemed to clean that up.

Rain forecast for next week here in Perth. Booooo

Cheers,

Justin
