Just a little update:
The prototype 'L' bracket was not up to the task at higher magnifications, allowing too much vibration, so this is Version 2.0
80mm x 16mm aluminium with M8x50mm stainless steel socket screws holding things together. I have also done away with the second saddle and am bolting the L-bracket directly to the Bino-Tak's cradle, saving about 800grams of weight from the system.
The bracket is bolted to the dovetail with M8 stainless screws which have locknuts on the back of the K-Astec dovetail plate.
