I had to keep the exposures short because the lens is so sharp that trailing shows up with longer exposures .
The 14-24 is a good match on the 5D quite a bulky lens but not as bulky as the 14mm plus the 24 1.4 that needs to be stopped down to 2.8 anyway.
Manual focus isn't a problem using the live view .
I should be able to reduce the noise further with some Photoshop shenanigans.
