Just because it is a film camera don't listen to the knockers who say film is dead and get a digital.
Give Allan Robertson at f16 Camera Repairs a call, if anyone can repair your family heirloom he can, these older cameras often just need a CLA (clean, lube & adjust) and can give many more years service. I regularly use a couple of cameras that are older than me
