Interesting. I hadn't considered JPG's would show less noise. I was judging by JPG's on a review site as well as comparisons by the course leader who had the camera.

Yes... an M9 would be very nice I'm sure ... but I'll set my signs on something achievable and hope I never have the pleasure of using an M9 to get addicted to it
